Act Two is a superior musical theatre training program led by industry professionals for aspiring young performers.
Our exclusive Sunday training programme offers aspiring young performers (aged 8+) the chance to learn from current industry professionals in a supportive, challenging environment. Our students will rotate between the three main disciplines of the musical theatre, TV and film industry by participating in an hour of singing, dancing and acting each week. They will also be given the opportunity to take part in a variety of industry led workshops and master classes through out the year. Our entire team are still performing within various fields throughout the industry and constantly working with the most reputable directors, choreographers and creatives.
With limited spaces available, students undergo an audition process to ensure they are part of an elite group dedicated to honing their craft. Our goal is to guide and prepare each student, enhancing their talents to set them on a path to future success in the world of musical theatre.
Whether they’re aiming for the stage or refining their skills, we are committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
Our training program takes place on Sundays in Brentwood, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in the world of musical theatre without interrupting their weekday commitments. Each Sunday is designed to provide a balance of technique, performance, and personal development, all while fostering a sense of community and collaboration among students. Here's what students can expect during each class:
A vocal warm-up and technique session, led by experienced vocal coaches. Students will work on breath control, range expansion, and tone quality, alongside developing skills to perform songs with confidence. Students will also explore various musical genres to ensure they are versatile performers.
In this section, students will focus on learning and perfecting key choreography, exploring a range of dance styles commonly used in musical theatre. Our professional dance instructors will teach skills that blend movement with storytelling, helping students understand how to express emotion and narrative through dance.
In this section, students will refine their acting skills through scene work that integrates both stage and screen techniques. While musical theatre performance is the foundation, we also offer unique training in screen acting—a skill often overlooked in traditional theatre programs. Students will learn how to adjust their performances for the camera, focusing on subtleties, facial expressions, and body language.
Through both stage and screen exercises, students will develop a versatile skill set that prepares them for any type of performance, whether on stage, in front of a camera, or for an audition.
We welcome all aspiring young performers to audition, whether they are already training or have no prior experience in musical theatre. Passion and dedication are what matter most to us! Auditioning is not about perfection—it’s about potential. If your child has a love for musical theatre, we encourage them to come and show us their enthusiasm!
